Byron Leonard is owner and principal of Software Blueprint IT Consulting.
Byron has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked for his
own company for almost all of that time.
Byron
has an engineering degree from the University of Arizona and
approaches all IT problems from an engineering
perspective.

Byron now works primarily as a Network Systems
Integrator focusing on computer and network security. Byron has hands-on
experience with everything from basic computer repair to full network security
lock-downs and everything in between.

Blueprint IT Consulting to offer a full range of Secure IT Solutions for small
and medium sized businesses.
Software
Development
Byron began his IT career as a UNIX 'C++'
Programmer/Software Developer in 1987. In the early 1990's, Byron began
developing software for Windows 3.1 and then 32 bit Windows 95/NT/2000 as these
platforms dominated the PC market.
Byron has worked with every major Microsoft
development platform including Visual C++, Visual Basic, Active Server Pages,
Access and now C# and VB .Net
Byron has developed educational, systems
management, web-based, and custom business software applications.
Byron also has an extensive background as a database developer using Microsoft
SQL Server since many software applications are built around SQL
Server. In fact, Byron holds the Microsoft Certified Database
Administrator (MCDBA) certification.
Byron was either project lead or project
architect on most of the software projects that he has worked on.
Currently, Byron will 'nail-down'
functional specifications and oversee outsourcing for custom business
applications for corporate clients on an as-needed basis.
Microsoft Trainer
Byron has also been a Microsoft Certified
Trainer (MCT) since 1997. Byron was a fulltime trainer for three years
and taught both the Microsoft Systems Engineering and Software Development
classes. Byron primarily taught Visual C++, however, Byron has
taught a total of 23 different Microsoft subjects including Visual Basic,
C# .Net, TCP/IP, Active Directory and BizTalk.
