Introducing ...

"Sandboxie" is a freeware utility that lets you run your browser in 'virtual sandbox.' Any spyware, trojans, keyloggers or other malware that is downloaded or installed while surfing the web can only access your sandbox but not the rest of your computer or operating system.

It's remarkably simple to use. To start a 'Sandboxed' browsing session just click the Sandboxie icon from the Quick Launch tray and this will launch your default browser in a sandbox. Then you can access any site you wish or download files in the normal way.

Spywarecleaner.org is actually a site that installs spyware on your computer -- so don't go there unless you put it in a sandbox!

When your done, right click the Sandboxie icon and select 'Delete contents of Sandbox.' Your computer will be returned to the exact state it was in before the browsing session.

If you want to recover files that were downloaded during your browsing session just right click the icon in the task tray and select 'Recover Files from Sandbox.'
