Windows XP -- Zero Client Config
|

|
 |
Zero Client Configuration in Windows XP means that with the right brand of
Wi-Fi network card in your laptop and the correctly configured Wi-Fi
infrastructure you can:
-
Simply insert the Wi-Fi network card into your laptop and it will configure
itself for your network without user intervention. J
-
Furthermore, as you move your laptop out of range of one access point and into
range of another, your laptop will automatically reconfigure itself to use the
second access point. All this is done while enforcing the security standards in
place on the network infrastructure of the new access point and without
user intervention.
-
Zero configuration allows a wireless device to function in different
environments, such as work, the airport, and home, without any user
intervention. Zero configuration uses the Windows XP Professional user
interface when attempting to connect wireless devices.
